Sava Cvek
Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Technology

Sava Cvek received a Masters in Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Before that he spent a year as a Graduate student at the Rhode Island School of Design department of Industrial Design. He received a B. Arch Degree from The Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade and Design Diploma from the Renowned School of Industrial Design in Belgrade. Sava Cvek is the founder of SCA Development International, a Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Management company, creating products that achieve a unique design perspective and highly engineered ergonomics. His furniture designs have received the highest awards and over sixty utility and design patents in the USA and internationally. His product designs are included in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Architecture in Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and Red Dot Museum of Design in Essen Germany.

Sava Cvek was the Commencement Speaker at the Graduation Ceremony on May 15th, 2011, at Wentworth Institute of Technology-WIT. For his extensive work in the field of manufacturing management he was awarded an honorary PhD degree, Doctor of Engineering Technology by WIT. Sava Cvek was a visiting faculty member in the Industrial Design Department of the Rhode Island School of Design.

Sava Cvek has a profound interest in the relationship between the Design and Engineering Profession and a Global Business Development. He has pioneered the concept of ODMM and assists through his Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Management work with many USA and European companies in achieving successful alliance partnerships with companies in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and South Korea. Since 2006 Sava Cvek continues to participate in the HSM World Business Forum.
