Wood and Veneer Surfaces
Care and Maintenance of Office Furniture is always recommended. Any spills on wood or veneer surfaces should be cleaned up immediately by absorbing the spill with a dry cloth. Watermarks from a drinking glass will cause the surface finish to discolor, warp, and crack. The use of protective pads is very much encouraged, and excessive cleaning with any solution will eventually break down the integrity of the finish. Any abrasive cleaning pads and solutions, Clorox bleach, Windex, hydrogen peroxide solutions, or solutions containing acids or dyes should be avoided as they can damage the finish.
Use soft, very lightly damp (not wet) cloth for regular cleaning. Go immediately over with a soft dry cloth thoroughly for occasional cleaning use only a non wax furniture polish that contains no silicon. Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight. Avoid extreme indoor humidity since it will cause the wood to warp. Do not place cork, soft PU, rubber pads, or similar objects on the surface finish, as their ingredients will react with the surface finish of wood and wood veneer. In case of a surface scratch or surface damage, use only professional service to ensure proper and long-lasting repair.
Laminates
High-pressure laminates and laminates films should be cleaned with mild soap solutions and a soft, damp (not wet) cloth, and after cleaning, wipe the entire surface with a soft, damp cloth and clean water. Apply a non-abrasive liquid kitchen cleaner with a soft cloth soaked in warm water for tough-to-clean marks. Wipe the furniture surface moving with the pattern and follow with a soft dry cloth. Extreme care should be taken when using acidic cleaners because they can cause discoloration and sheen. Avoid placing any sharp objects on the laminate surface as they can create permanent scratches and severe damage, requiring the replacement of the laminate desktop/cabinet top.
Powder Coat Paint Surfaces
Use a soft cotton cloth and damp it lightly with a mild soap and water solution—clean surfaces using very light pressure. Do not add any additional chemicals or various formulated cleaning products to the soupy water. Use another soft cotton cloth to wipe with clean water and dry. The use of acidic and abrasive cleaners can cause a change in sheen and cause severe discoloration. Do not scrape or rub furniture surfaces with an abrasive cloth that could damage or remove the coating from the surface over time. Do not use ammonia and bleach on a powder-coated finish and surfaces.
Polished Aluminum
Clean with a soft cotton cloth, wet it lightly in a mild soap solution or a mild liquid detergent. The use of abrasive or acidic cleaners can cause discoloration and change the sheen. Not to rest footwear on the polished star-base or the desk floor foot surface is recommended to avoid creating scratches from fine dust and sand particles. To polish, by hand only, use a special soft cloth and apply a pre-softened paste wax to polish aluminum components following the manufacturer’s instructions. Before polishing, use scotch blue masking tape to protect other surfaces in the immediate surroundings of the intended aluminum surface. Use a professional cleaning surface with good experience. Recommended paste wax is Semi-Chrome or Mothers Polish.
Stainless Steel
Clean with a damp soft cotton cloth using a mild soap solution or glass cleaner. Acidic and abrasive cleaners can cause discoloration and change the sheen.
Chrome Plated Surfaces
Clean with a damp soft cotton cloth, mild soap, or a mild liquid detergent and clean water solution or glass cleaner. A non-abrasive automotive chrome polish can be applied as directed for scuff marks or heavy soiling. Protect adjacent surfaces with scotch blue masking tape.
Mesh
Clean fresh stain before it dries with a lightly wet lint-free sponge or soft cotton cloth using mild soap and clean, warm water. If possible, place a dry clean cotton cloth behind the stained area to absorb any excess liquid and dirt. When whipping the stain, wet the area, start from the outer edge of the stain and work toward the center to avoid creating a halo effect. Do not rub hard not to disrupt the mesh line construction. Do not use a brush to remove stains to prevent the mesh surface construction and pattern damage. Wait for the clean area to dry completely before use. Use an air-compressed gun with a rounded tip to remove fine dust from the mesh. After blowing out all fine dust, use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow tip without any sharp edges. Use professional cleaning service for cleaning work.

ABS Plastic, Nylon Plastic, Polypropylene
Do not expose plastic parts to direct sunlight and outdoor conditions. Clean with a damp soft cotton cloth and mild soap and clean water solution or Fantastic. Avoid using highly concentrated alkalis, acids, and halogens (chlorine). Do not use abrasive cleaners that contain substances that could damage, sand, or scratch the plastic surface. When using cleaning agents, please observe the cleaning agent manufacturer’s instructions for use and always test the suitability of the cleaning agent on a concealed area first to avoid discoloration or abrasion. If cleaning any plastic surfaces that are part of electrical products, make sure all power is turned off, and the product is unplugged from the power source. All battery power supply must be removed and in off mode. Do not attempt to clean any area close to a switch using any kind of liquid except dried or extremely light damp cotton cloth. Make sure all electrical products are dried thoroughly for several hours before the product is reconnected to electrical or battery power.
Acrylic
Clean with Swiffer hand mop and non-static dry disposable Swiffer duster. For stubborn spots, use a damp, soft, clean cotton cloth, mild non-abrasive cleaning, or mild soap and clean water. Do not leave surfaces wet; wipe very gently after cleaning. Some dry or gritty cloths may cause surface scratches and create a static electricity charge on the surface. For occasional cleaning, we recommend using Novus Plastic Polish. Do not use window cleaning spray, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, benzene, alcohol, carbon tetrachloride, or lacquer thinners. These can scratch the sheet’s surface and/or weaken the sheet causing small surface cracks called “creasing.” Do not expose acrylic to direct sunlight.
Glass
